Donate to charity

You wish to donate or bequeath part or all of your assets to a good cause

For whom is this interesting?

You have a fortune (small or large) and you have no next of kin or perhaps no good relations with your next of kin and family. You have no idea who to give or bequeath your assets to and are afraid that they may end up in the hands of the wrong people. Then a donation or last will and testament to a charity might be thesolution.

How does this work?

In principle, you make a choice as to which charity your capital will go to. You can opt to donate part of your assets during your lifetime or you can opt to hand over your inheritance to a charity after your death. But there are so many charities, and which ones are best able to handle my donated assets? I would like to help not just one but several charities, how do I go about it?

A Charity Fund is a solution

A Charity Fund is an organisation that works with various charities. The distribution is usually spread over organizations that vouch for or help to:

  • Charity for disease control such as cancer, parkinson's and Alzheimer's research, ...
  • Charity for animals in need such as neglected animals, lost animals, ...
  • Good causes for the preservation of nature such as the World Wildlife Fund, ...
  • People in need such as victims of violence, abandoned children, ...

Through such a fund to which you entrust your assets, your donation or legacy will be distributed among these organizations. However, you also have the choice to make a selection so that, for example, you only want your donation or legacy to go to one specific charity.

The organisation of a Charity of Funds deals with the administration and correct distribution of your assets to the organisations you wish to donate to. You draw up a plan with one of the partners such as Segurantis , it is checked for legality and if it is in order, an appointment is made with the notary. The charities are informed of your donation and an appointment is made with them for a separate tour.
